Grab your running shoes, hop on the ferry, and enjoy an early morning run on Governors Island before it opens to the public for the day!

Nestled between Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn waterfront, Governors Island is only an eight minute ferry ride but a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. On June 10th New York Harbor Oyster Classic 5K (NYHOC5K) participants will take in the sweeping views of New York Harbor, featuring the lower Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge, while passing the dozens of
historic buildings, art installations and inviting green lawns.

After the race, all are welcome to stay for the day and explore all that Governors Island has to offer.
