DESCRIPTION:Register Now\n  \nOn February 25\, 2019 Victoria McDonnell suffered a fatal brain aneurysm at the age of 26.  She died a hero by being an organ donor. Victoria’s last act of kindness was to donate her organs – saving the lives of three people.   Please join us at Wolfe’s Pond Park at 420 Cornelia Avenue\, Staten Island\, N.Y. 10312\, on October 13th at 10am for the 4th Annual 5K race/1 Mile walk  in her memory. We hope this run will continue to honor Victoria’s life and bring awareness to the need and importance of the gift of life through organ donation and transplantation.  All proceeds from “Victoria’s Run”  will go to the LiveOnNY Foundation to help organ donor and recipient families. Can’t participate? on race day but wish to donate  go our GOFUND me page : https://gofundme/2b080d2e at the link at the bottom of this page under contact information or click on Victoria’s picture in the upper right hand corner.

DESCRIPTION:Register Now\nRun or walk in The 4th Annual 5K run or 1-mile walk to Support our Troops. Whether they are Active or Veterans\, they are either still fighting for our freedom to keep us safe or they are fighting their own battles that never ended when they came home. A portion of the proceeds will go to  Soldiers’ Angels a national non-profit charity providing aid\, comfort\, and resources to the military\, veterans\, and their families. Volunteers work to assist veterans\, wounded\, deployed personnel\, and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways. “May No Soldier Go Unloved.” They have many programs and services for our soldiers active or retired\, including our homeless veterans. This race will always be in memory of Vinnie Walters\, a Vietnam Veteran who left us in December of 2020.
