DESCRIPTION:Register Now\n  \nOfficially timed 5K run and walk to follow.  The Michael’s Cause 5k run is now the 3rd leg of the Staten Island Triple Crown of 5k races. Awards are given based on age categories.  There will be food and refreshments as well as raffles. \nMichael’s Cause raises awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and directs all proceeds to the best medical and scientific research to find better treatments and a future cure for this disease.  In addition Michael’s Cause helps families with boys and men affected by Duchenne with the purchase of medical equipment and accessible vans. \nTo date Michael’s Cause has directed over 2 million dollars towards research and equipment. \n  \nRegister Now

This event will be the first race in Staten Island to raise Brain Aneurysm Awareness in Brittany’s honor. \nThe Run/Walk will be held on Saturday\, September 24th at Wolfes Pond Park beginning at 9:00am. The Run will be a 5K and the Walk will be 1 Mile. All registrants will receive a race t-shirt and race swag bag if registered by September 1st. \nRegistration options include \nRunner\, Walker\, Child\, & Virtual. \nRaffle Prizes & a 50/50 will be available for purchase on the day of the event.
