Victoria’s last act of kindness was to donate her organs – saving the lives of three people.   Please join us at Clove Lakes Park at Stonehenge\, Staten Island\, N.Y.\, on October 3 at 10am for a 5K race in her memory. Run as much or as little as you want on a beautiful 2 mile loop at Conference House Park. Awards for top 3 male and female finishers\, marathon distance finishers\, continue to collect challenge coins for lifetime distance completed 50K\, 50 Mile\, 100 Mile and every 100 miles after. \nAll safety measures will be in full effect at sign up and at the start will be observed under the NYC official health guidelines. Refreshments served during and after the race with  commemorative shirts to each entrant. If you are running a virtual Marathon this is the course for you. They are either still fighting for our freedom to keep us safe or they are fighting their own battles that never ended  when they came home.    Proceeds after expenses will go to the Gary Sinise Foundation\, who supports all those who sacrifice on our behalf: active duty\, veterans\, first responders\, and their loved ones. \nThe experiences of war leave an indelible impact on our defenders. When they return to civilian life\, the physical\, emotional\, and psychological challenges they face are often difficult. As citizens\, we benefit from the freedom and security they fight to protect. Supporting these heroes is a responsibility we all must share. \n“Freedom and security are precious gifts that we\, as Americans\, should never take for granted.
