DESCRIPTION:Register Now\n  \nOn February 25\, 2019 Victoria McDonnell suffered a fatal brain aneurysm at the age of 26.  She died a hero by being an organ donor. Victoria’s last act of kindness was to donate her organs – saving the lives of three people.   Please join us at Wolfe’s Pond Park at 420 Cornelia Avenue\, Staten Island\, N.Y. 10312\, on October 13th at 10am for the 4th Annual 5K race/1 Mile walk  in her memory. A portion of the proceeds will go to  Soldiers’ Angels a national non-profit charity providing aid\, comfort\, and resources to the military\, veterans\, and their families. Volunteers work to assist veterans\, wounded\, deployed personnel\, and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways. “May No Soldier Go Unloved.” They have many programs and services for our soldiers active or retired\, including our homeless veterans. This race will always be in memory of Vinnie Walters\, a Vietnam Veteran who left us in December of 2020.

DESCRIPTION:The same-day registration tables will open at 7:30 AM.  The 5k race goes off at 9:00 AM\, and the walk goes off at 10:00 AM. \nOfficially timed 5K run and walk to follow.  The Michael’s Cause 5k run is now the 3rd leg of the Staten Island Triple Crown of 5k races.
