A portion of the proceeds will go to  Soldiers’ Angels a national non-profit charity providing aid\, comfort\, and resources to the military\, veterans\, and their families. Volunteers work to assist veterans\, wounded\, deployed personnel\, and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways. “May No Soldier Go Unloved.” They have many programs and services for our soldiers active or retired\, including our homeless veterans. This race will always be in memory of Vinnie Walters\, a Vietnam Veteran who left us in December of 2020.

As a thank you we present Winterfest 2023\, a 5k race at Wolfe’s Pond\,  on the CRS home race turf and asphalt. \n    This race will finish off the year with a $ 25 dollar for adults and a $10 dollar\, 17 and under entry fee\, a $ 10 buck off discount. Wolfe’s Pond Park has amazing views\, ocean\, beach\, pond plus woods and much fowl and wildlife to observe. A post race breakfast and as always fun and frivolity with the CRS team.
