The Church of St. Andrew 5K Steeplechase

The Church of St. Andrew in Richmondtown was founded in 1708.
It is one of the oldest active Episcopal churches in the United States and indeed the oldest active church on Staten Island. In St. Andrew’s 315-year history, except for this event, there is no record that a foot race has ever been staged on these hallowed grounds. On September 30, 2023, the Episcopal Church of St. Andrew will hold its 2nd annual 3.1-mile run and 1.1-mile walk. By participating, you will be contributing to the various charitable initiatives led by our church, and your involvement will help us continue making a positive impact in the Staten Island community and beyond.
The start/finish area is next to the Church itself and is run over a well-known footpath, competing in the lush landscape of our greenbelt.
Join us on September 30th, connect with fellow participants, meet new friends, and engage in the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the Church of St. Andrew….and again become part of history.
