Marty Egan grew up in Midland Beach and graduated from St. Margaret Mary’s and
Monsignor Farrell High School where he was a member of the track team. Marty was just
36 years old, a husband and father of 2, and had recently been promoted to Captain with the
NYC Fire Dept., when he responded to the WTC from Fire Dept. Headquarters on
September 11th
.
Proceeds to benefit the Capt. Martin J. Egan Jr. Memorial Fund, which will finance a scholarship in
Marty’s Name.
